How Scott Went From Feeling Drained After 9 Holes to Finishing 18 Strong

Scott H., a 48-year-old commercial real estate broker from Scottsdale, Arizona, has been playing golf for over two decades. He enjoys getting out to Troon North two to three times a week, typically shooting around a 15–16 handicap.

But as he moved deeper into his 40s, he started noticing that something wasn’t the same. He could begin a round feeling great, but by the time he reached the turn at hole 9, everything started dipping: his energy, focus, swing tempo, and even his patience. On the front 9 he played controlled and steady, but by the back 9, he often felt tired and frustrated.

For Scott, the decline wasn’t just physical. His work life wasn’t helping either. Long drives between properties, rushed lunches, stressful negotiations, and frequent late nights were wearing him down. His wife even mentioned that he didn’t look like himself anymore.

The turning point came one weekend when he played with two much younger golfers. By hole 11, they were laughing and full of energy, while Scott felt like he was dragging his feet. Leaning on his driver, he thought,

“I can’t keep losing energy like this. This isn’t how I want to enjoy the game.”

After that discouraging round, a friend suggested he try adding more micronutrients to his daily routine and recommended giving Elite Reds and Elite Greens a try. Scott wasn’t a supplement person, but he also didn’t like feeling older than his age, so he ordered both products and decided to test them for a month.

During the first two weeks, Scott kept things simple. He took Elite Reds every morning with cold water and Elite Greens after lunch. One of the first improvements he noticed was how much lighter he felt after meals. His usual afternoon slump wasn’t hitting as hard, and he wasn’t dragging through the early morning hours anymore.

By the end of week two, his energy dips had noticeably leveled out, and those familiar 2 p.m. crashes were suddenly gone.

Weeks three through six were when the real transformation set in. Scott found he had steady, reliable energy throughout the entire day, not the jittery kind, but the calm, sustainable energy he hadn’t felt in years.

On the course, he didn’t fade on the back 9 anymore. In fact, he finished full 18-hole rounds with the same focus and tempo he had early in the round. Even his coach pointed out that his swing looked smoother and more balanced coming down the stretch.

The mental changes surprised him the most. He felt sharper, made better decisions, and approached shots with more patience. His recovery also improved. Normally, a Saturday round meant waking up stiff on Sunday, but now his body bounced back faster, and he wasn’t dealing with the same tightness in his back and hips.

The moment that convinced Scott this change was real happened during a Sunday round. One of the younger guys he was playing with joked,

“Dude, you’re outlasting us today. What changed?”

Scott laughed it off, but deep down he felt incredible. His posture felt stronger, his swing felt more fluid, and he wasn’t winded or tired. He played one of his most consistent rounds in months, and he knew this wasn’t a coincidence.

Five months later, Scott’s routine hasn’t changed: one scoop of Reds in the morning and one scoop of Greens in the afternoon, and daily creatine. His handicap has dropped from 16 to 13.

This has happened not just because he’s suddenly hitting 30 yards farther, but because he doesn’t collapse in the last six holes. In fact, his recovery has become smoother, his daily energy feels stable, and his overall performance has improved both on and off the course.

At work, he’s more focused and less reactive. He handles long days better, feels more physically steady when meeting clients, and even notices better agility during his occasional gym sessions. His wife has mentioned that he looks clearer, more relaxed, and more confident.

Most importantly, he enjoys golf more because he finishes strong instead of fading out.

Looking back, Scott admits he didn’t expect any of this.

“If I’m being honest, I thought supplements were hype,” he says.

“But these two changed my day-to-day energy, not just my golf. I feel like I’m playing with the energy I had in my mid-30s.”
